Katherine Michelle Svoboda Malberg (1999, Maracaibo, Venezuela) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona. With a background in Fine Arts and Motion Graphics & Video, her practice spans painting, installation, and audiovisual work.

Under the name SVOBODA, she explores memory, displacement, and identity through abstract forms that merge the organic and the mechanical. Since 2021, she has exhibited in contexts such as SVOBODA, her debut show of early paintings, noc noc (2023), a sound installation, and Primary Processes (2025), a painting exhibition.

Her work creates visual environments that feel both intimate and unfamiliar, inviting viewers into spaces where emotion, rhythm, and form coexist in constant motion.

noc noc Audiovisual installation that strengthens ties between architecture, sound and society

Audiovisual installation that is inspired by the acoustics and materials of the past, strengthening ties between architecture, sound and society. The experience believes in the power of sound to reveal the complexity and magic of Gaudí's crypt, located in Colonia Güell.

The white finish of the hand sculptures contains a conceptual meaning: the purity associated with religion and extremes. The constant movement of the arm expresses the monotony of industrialisation and consumerism. Sound reaches where sight cannot, transforming our experience of space.
